Customize map view settings for sharing

In addition to customizing the look and feel of your maps, you can also customize different elements of the user interface that your viewer will be able to interact with, such as hiding the search box in view mode.

  1. In the Change data menu, click the menu icon menu button. 
  2. Select Map layers and then click Map settings at the end of the list of basemap layers.
  3. Click to enable or disable each setting to customize the user interface.
  4. Click on X to close the map layers panel when done.

These changes will be applied only to the map you're working on, and will be visible to your viewers only after you publish it.
